The NDC2 Series AC Contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is primarily used in power systems with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), rated voltage up to 1000V, and under AC-3 utilization category, a rated operational voltage of 415V with a main circuit rated operational current up to 170A. It is designed for making and breaking circuits, as well as frequent starting and controlling of AC motors. It can also be combined with a suitable thermal overload relay to form an electromagnetic starter, protecting circuits against potential overloads.
