The NDK1 Series Switching Capacitor Contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is designed for AC 50Hz (or 60Hz) systems with a rated insulation voltage of 690V. Under the AC-6b utilization category, it offers a rated operational current up to 87A at a rated operational voltage of 400V. Widely used in low-voltage reactive power compensation equipment, it switches capacitor banks. The contactor is equipped with a surge suppression device that effectively reduces the impact of inrush current on capacitor banks during closing and minimizes overvoltage.
