This commissioned grid-connected wind farm ranks the highest-altitude completed wind power facility across the globe. Its maximum turbine foundation sits at an elevation of 5,200 m, while the peak altitude of turbine nacelles reaches 5,305 m.
This project acts as a landmark undertaking for China to exploit clean energy resources and construct a modern new-type power system within high-altitude regions.
